Sang-ri Yi gave a talk at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Houston.

Dr. Sang-ri Yi is an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rice. Before joining Rice University, she was an Assistant Project Scientist at University of California at Berkeley and a Senior Software Developer at NHERI SimCenter. In SimCenter, she led the design and implementation of advanced uncertainty quantification (UQ) capabilities in open-source natural hazard modeling and simulation software applications, including workflows for regional-scale surrogate modeling applications, variance-based sensitivity analysis, probabilistic inventory imputation, and multi-fidelity UQ.
Postdoctoral Researcher
Seonghyun is a postdoctoral researcher at Rice University. His research focuses on uncertainty quantification and stochastic modeling for seismic risk analysis and resilience appraisal of complex infrastructure systems under extreme events.
Topics: Uncertainty quantification in natural hazards, System-level resilience assessment
